Occupational Medical Examinations
Medical Examinations are conducted as according to the Medical Examinations Rules, 2005. Our comprehensive and customizable baseline and periodic workplace medical examinations identify pre-existing injuries or underlying medical conditions, and determine an employee’s ability to perform the essential duties associated with his or her job. Being aware of pre-existing conditions and/or risk factors may help lower your workers’ compensation and general disability claims.
Our Designated Health Practitioners (DHPs) are registered under Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services and have wide experience in different sectors of businesses across Kenya. This enables us to determine specific health impact issues that we then subject to the medical examinations. Other medical examinations that we conduct as required by the Medical Examinations Rules, 2005 include;
- PERIODIC MEDICALS
Periodic medicals help ensure the long-term health of valued employees, particularly those who may be exposed to potentially harmful substances or hazardous working conditions. Our health monitoring exams are an effective safeguard against the financial and emotional costs of illness and injury, with a positive effect on employee health, wellness and productivity. Routine testing of your employees helps to mitigate both of your risks
- PRE-PLACEMENT EXAMS: REDUCE YOUR RISK
In theory, every job has physical demands. By conducting pre-employment medical testing that matches those demands, you can determine whether employees can safely perform a job, reducing insurance claims, lost time and related medical costs. Plus we can help you identify work environment risks and ensure you comply with current laws and regulations.
- EXIT MEDICALS: LIMIT YOUR FUTURE RISK
When you and an employee part ways, it’s good to know that they are leaving with a clean bill of health to limit your future risk and ensure liability resides with the right party.
